Benefits of the Ingredients:
Bentonite Clay binds to unhealthy substances in the mouth, teeth, tongue and gums, and helps remove them before you swallow these substances. After bentonite clay does its work drawing toxins out of the mouth, it leaves behind minerals that are nourishing for the teeth.
Peppermint extract is extremely effective at killing anaerobic bacteria, the type of bacteria that thrive in a low oxygen environment such as the mouth, and can cause gum disease. Peppermint has been also used to naturally freshen breath. According to studies, it performs even better than the mouthwash chemical chlorhexidine at reducing cavities.
Orange helps keep your gums healthy by strengthening blood vessels and connective tissues. They’re full of vitamin C that helps reduce inflammation, which may prevent or slow the progression of gingivitis.
Frankincense can help prevent dental health issues like tooth decay, bad breath, cavities, or oral infections. Frankincense is also an anti-inflammatory to help soothe inflamed gums.
Cinnamon extracts have been shown to be protective against bacteria living in the oral microflora that could cause bad breath, tooth decay, cavities, or mouth infections, while also naturally freshening your breath.
Salt is a gentle abrasive that will help remove stains and brighten teeth. Salt is also a natural source of some fluoride. Salt acts as a disinfectant to kill the bacteria that can cause bad breath and gingivitis.
