I have some liver issues as well as digestion issues and was wanting to ingest this oil.. however my research is showing a lot of conflicting data.
Can you safely ingest helichrysum as long as it’s with a carrier oil? Or am I stuck with just topically rubbing it into my skin ? Thank yiu so much in advance
I would see an Ayurvedic Practitioner if you are suffering from Liver and digestive disorders. Please do not ingest Essential Oil not knowing what is going inside the body.
Please can you tell me source about action on dosha VPK =, especially Vata ++ if use in excess. Where do you find this info ? I have some Dravya Guna books and didn’t find this one…it is very important for me as I am Ayurvedic Practinioneer. Thank you.
If you read the Dravyaguna – and you know the nature of the herbs and oils you can definitely learn about the Dosha’s of the oils. For example Lavender is cooling – it calms the mind, assists in first aid for minor burning as well as the chemical structure of the oils are slightly heating. Therefore this particular oil is suitable for tri dosha. You can check out my book for Ayurvedic Aromatherapy – it references my study too.
