AYURVEDIC COOKING CLASSES IN TORONTO
This is an Ayurvedic and Nutrition Course. Nahid will teach you about the importance
of Tri Dosha or 3 body types and Rasa or 6 tastes in Ayurveda. In addition, benefits of applying Ayurvedic
principles in cooking will be explored. You will learn how to source and prepare meals using the absolute
best ingredients and learn unique cooking techniques. The recipes are designed to help you create a
balanced vegetarian diet.
The class will cover:
The concept of dosha and 6 tastes
How to use food to balance the 3 different doshas
Ayurvedic pantry basics and kitchen ware required
Introduction to Ayurvedic way of using spices
Understanding how to make the right choices from each food groups – grains, legumes, oils, fats
How to cook to improve digestion
Recipe hand out will be provided.
